Ever since she started sculpting and casting her works in bronze, Wu Ching Ju insists to be involved in each phase of the tedious stages of transforming a sculpted figure into bronze. While many might prefer to leave this time consuming and physically demanding work to others, Wu Ching Ju finds it critical that she applies the patina (coloring) on the bronzes herself; she expresses that the color of each piece is an integral part of the creation as a whole.
